Executive Search and Recruitment Consultant
Mariëlle Wester is Executive Search and Recruitment Consultant and joined the Inspired team in February 2015. As well as being involved in executive search assignments, Mariëlle is also active in developing her personal portfolio. With a genuine interest in people and what causes them to thrive, she loves to connect information with people; to know and investigate why they make certain decisions and why and how organisations work the way they do.
Ever optimistic, Mariëlle is always seeking opportunities and is creative in the ways she helps clients and candidates to find solutions. As a consultant, this helps her to form a sophisticated understanding of organisations and their people, which leads to meeting their needs with the perfect match.
During her Masters of Labour and Organizational Psychology, which examines the behaviour of people at work, Mariëlle dealt with subjects such as person-organisational fit; recruitment; assessments; work motivation, stressors and performance; conflict, cooperation and decision making processes; leadership, behavioural and communication styles and organisational changes. From this solid knowledge base, Mariëlle is well-equipped to analyse, solve and advise on both client and candidate challenges.
During an internship at a full HR service provider, Mariëlle came in contact with diverse aspects of the HR spectrum. After graduating, she briefly worked for a large recruitment and payroll company before joining Inspired-Search.
Intrigued by the world of logistics and supply chain, Mariëlle is readily adept at identifying both the functional skills, soft skills and characteristics that lead to a better fit between candidates and clients. She is a rising star in our organisation.
Mariëlle holds a Master’s degree in Labour and Organizational Psychology from the University of Amsterdam.
