Top 27 Supply Chain Executives DACH Region 2018

Who is the most influential supply chain leader in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the ‘DACH’ region)? To answer this question, Supply Chain Media, in cooperation with Inspired-Search, applied its methodology to produce the Top 27 Supply Chain Executives in the DACH region. During the first edition of the European Supply Chain Excellence Summit in Dresden, Germany, Chris Tyas of Nestlé was announced as the region’s top-ranking supply chain executive.

The ranking of the Top 27 Supply Chain Executives in DACH is based on four quadrants each worth 25 percent. The first quadrant is “Company Success” which is based on the financial performance of the executive’s company, such as the yearly revenue, revenue growth, EBIT and EBIT growth. The second quadrant is “Personal Responsibility” which measures the executive’s span of control, the geographical area he or she manages, supply chain complexity and supply chain maturity based on the Gartner model. The third quadrant is “Personal Visibility” which measures the executive’s public media presence created through press releases, interviews, keynote presentations and university guest lectures. The fourth quadrant is “Peer Voting” which is the ranking given by experienced people involved in the SCM sector such as executive recruiters and professors.
