Managing Partner Inspired-Talent
Ujendre Ramautarsing is a Managing Partner of Inspired-Talent and believes that the ideal start for ambitious graduates in supply chain is within a planner’s role. It is here, he says, that they will gain the skills and competencies required to become excellent supply chain leaders. To help nurture and coach this fresh talent, Ujendre has set up a traineeship programme in planning functions.
With an open mind and collaborative approach, Ujendre’s work exposes how the supply chain can have a significantly better impact on the business’ results. He zeroes in directly on the strengths and the development needs of planners and creates a setting where people are able to deliver at their best. Ujendre’s search assignments focus on supply chain planners for interim placements.
After completing his studies in 1997, Ujendre began his career at Philips, where he climbed the ranks steadily over a period of over 10 years. Ujendre has also held a number of roles in project management at Black Belt level (Lean Six Sigma), customer service management, supply chain planning, lean improvements, and global S&OP implementations.
Having worked in both the Netherlands and Belgium, Ujendre has experience across factories and commercial organisations, as well as in the implementation of global change programmes. In 2010, he started his own consultancy and interim management business, with customers in retail, B2B and OEM channels, who varied across industries from engineering to order shipbuilding and again to the toy industry. This business sought to match clients with the right planners and then to develop these planners in line with the clients’ goals.
Ujendre holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science. Following the inception of his career he has completed a number of development qualifications such as the NIMA (marketing), APICS, Black Belt (Lean Six Sigma) and has worked to perfect soft training skills such as personal effectiveness and coaching for growth and leadership.
